The image above is the updated phasing plan and schedule for the Central Basin Phase 4 Project.
The rain today caused a day delay in which will set back construction. This week Phase 1 will continue to install geotextile fabric followed by 12" of aggregate base course which will go into early next week. The contractor is estimating that the curb and gutter will start either on Friday the 14th of this week or on Monday the 17th. After the curb and gutter is in place, the sidewalks and driveways will be getting poured which is estimated to start late next week. In Phase 2 the sanitary sewer and water main has been installed throughout the last couple of weeks. Storm sewer will start to get put in while they also do water services throughout next week.
Anticipating no weather issues, Phase 3 will start to go under construction on Monday the 24th of July. Elm Street will be blocked off from 4th Avenue to 1st Avenue that morning prior to construction beginning. The contractor will begin with removals as well as getting temporary water main setup.
